Prayers for All Occasions
What is prayer? Dictionary.com defined
prayer as
"The act of addressing supplication to God; the offering of adoration, confession, supplication,
and thanksgiving to the Supreme Being; as, public prayer; secret prayer."
Jesus really showed us how to pray when he taught us the "Lord's Prayer" (also known as "Our Father Prayer").
Today, Roman Catholics pray a variety of prayers to many declared Saints in Heaven. Why don't they just
pray directly to God? They do but in praying to Saints in Heaven, the Saints pray with them. Below are
some prayers for you to pray. If you have any not listed here, why not email them to clouds.org for others
to read too? Thank you.
